Edwardian 14kt Aquamarine & Diamond Lavalier Pendant
A lovely lavalier pendant necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This delicate piece is made of 14kt yellow gold topped in white gold and depicts a soft, leaf-like fan shape. Covered in milgrained detailing, the pendant holds a single sparkling diamonds in a bezel setting, which is set within an open circular frame. Below is a fanned filigree frame with a fine, flowing engraved design on top. Dangling freely from the bottom of the pendant is a bezel set aquamarine stone. The aqua is beautifully faceted and displays a gorgeous sky blue color. The pendant hangs from a white gold bail, making it easy to hang and wear from a chain. A delicate and feminine piece, this beautiful pendant would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs slightly less than 2" long, is approximately 3/16" at the widest point and 1/8” at its deepest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white and yellow gold setting and bail, which is secure and in good working condition. Both the diamond and aquamarine stone are intact.
