Edwardian 14kt & Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 0.47ct
A beautiful mixed metals diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This lovely two-tone piece has a 14kt yellow gold shank and a platinum top. Set within the platinum setting is a single sparkling old Mine Cut diamond, which is G color and VS2 clarity with an approximate weight of 0.47ct. The center stone is bead set in an octagonal shaped setting with a surrounding open channel. There are 6 old European cut diamonds lining the shoulders of the ring, accenting the center diamond perfectly. The side diamonds are bead set and weigh approximately 0.18ctw, with H-I range color and VS2-SI range clarity. The engraving and delicate milgrain work on the ring is remarkably beautiful, with a feminine scrolled motif and the shank is stamped "14K". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in March 2014 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,700.00. It is an absolutely gorgeous piece and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and the diamonds are all intact.
