Edwardian 18kt Yellow Gold & Sterling Diamond Ring
A stunning diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1900) era! This wonderful piece is made of 18kt yellow gold, topped with sterling silver and has a rectangular shaped face. Set within the open wirework of the rectangular face is a single 0.25ct Cushion Cut diamond which is surrounded by 30 smaller Single Cut stones. The smaller diamonds are set in patterns of four beaming lines and small triangles and between each row of diamonds are cutouts that create a starburst-like shape. The gold shank is stamped "750" and has an additional makers mark. It's a perfect everyday piece and would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5 but it could easily be re-sized. The rectangular plaque measures approximately 5/8" tall and a little less than 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
