Edwardian 14kt & Platinum Enameled Diamond Ring 0.70ct
A fantastic gold and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1900) era! This fantastic piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and features an attractive yet simple bezel design with a sparkling 0.70ct old Mine Cut diamond set in the center. The diamond is bezel set in platinum and has J color and VS2 clarity. Encircling the stone is an open channel which has a black enameled surface, adding a rich detail to the already fabulous ring. The shank is stamped "14K" along with the word "BIRKS". The ring appraised in February 2014 by a GIA certified GG for a retail replacement value of $6000. This is a fabulous piece and would make a wonderful everyday piece or a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold and platinum setting, enameling, or to the diamond stone, which is intact.
