Edwardian 18kt & Sterling 3-Stone Diamond Ring 3.90ctw
An absolutely exquisite 3-stone diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful ring is made of 18kt yellow gold and adorns 3 old European Cut diamond stones along the top. The center stone is slightly larger than the outer 2, with a total weight of 1.87ct, J color, and SI2 clarity. The two side diamonds have a total weight of 2.03ct tw, color in the I-J range, and clarity in the SI range. Each diamond is prong set in a simple sterling silver prongs which compliment the yellow gold band beautifully. The underside of the shank is stamped “750”. The ring was appraised in November 2012 by an accredited, independent gemologist and has a retail replacement value of $35,000.00. It is a stunning ring which could be worn as an everyday piece or would make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a generous finger size 6.5 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling setting, and all three diamonds are intact.
