An absolutely exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of platinum, this fabulous ring carries and unusual and striking design with an old European Cut resting at the center which is surrounding by a thin open channel. The center stone has a total weight of 1.52ctw with I color and SI2 clarity and is set in the center of a beautiful and ornate setting and is framed by 12 additional old European Cut diamonds. These diamonds are set within a diamond shaped design and have a total approximate weight of 1.03ctw with H-K color range and SI1-SI2 clarity range. The overall diamond weight of the ring is 2.55ctw. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited to GIA certified Gemologist in January 2014 and has a retail replacement value of $18,000.00. With a very different look, it is an absolutely gorgeous ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.75 but it could easily be re-sized. The diamond shaped platinum center measures a little more than 3/4" tall and wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
