A simply beautiful and feminine pair of diamond earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Each platinum earring begins with a decorative swirled topper attached to a simple earring wire. Dangling below the surmount is an elegant Edwardian link, which is formed by three open circles, which are graduated and fit within one another perfectly. Suspended in the center of the design is a single Old European cut diamond resting in a bezel setting, while four smaller diamonds surround it. In between each diamond is a delicate leaf-like accent, and fine milgrain detail completes the gorgeous design. A simply beautiful pair of earrings with a very Edwardian look, they would make an absolutely stunning addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each diamond earring hangs approximately 1 1/8" long and is 3/16" thick. The circle link at the bottom has a diameter of slightly less than 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact. The earring wires and tops are secure and in good working condition.
