Retro 18kt Moon & Star Diamond Engage Ring 0.40ct

SKU: 37441

$2,295
A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the Early Retro (ca1940) era! This artistic piece is made of 18kt white gold and holds a sparkling old European Cut diamond at the center of a decorative setting. The center stone is prong set and has a total weight of 0.40ct with H color and VS2 clarity. Framing the center diamond is an asymmetrical design, which represents a crescent moon and shooting star for your special someone. The shooting star is comprised of a row of three baguette diamonds on one side, and the diamond-encrusted crescent moon rests on the other side. The unusual combination of shapes is very representative of the Retro era and has a lovely effect! The white gold band is smooth on all sides and is stamped "18CT" inside, along with a small maker's mark. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $3700.00. A simply gorgeous piece, it looks stunning when worn and would make a special engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.25 but it could easily be re-sized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
