An exquisite Art Deco (ca1920) diamond engagement ring! The center diamond stone, which is an old Mine Cut, has a total weight of .84ct and is set in a beautiful platinum setting. The color of the stone is H and the clarity is SI2. It measures approximately 5.01mm x 5.03mm and has a very small culet in the center of the stone. The center diamond is set in a 4 prong setting and is surrounded by 8 single cut diamonds. There are also 2 single cut diamonds set on the shoulder of the mounting. The single cut diamonds that are set within the mounting have H-I range color, VS-SI1 range clarity, and a total weight of .20ct tw. The mounting is detailed in a soft hand etched design which carries down the sides of the ring and the inside shank is marked "IRID PLAT". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in November 2014 and has a stated retail replacement value of $6,000.00. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a great everyday ring or a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a small 6.75 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the diamonds are intact.
