Late Victorian 14kt Amethyst & Mine Cut Diamond Ring
An absolutely exquisite amethyst and diamond ring from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! The large center stone is a vibrant, faceted, 6.00ct amethyst that is surrounded by 16 sparkling, old Mine Cut diamonds that have a total approximate weight of .75ct tw. The diamonds are prong set within 14kt white gold and the band of the ring is made of smooth 14kt yellow gold. The shank is stamped “14K”. The ring would make an exquisite addition to any collection!
Measurements: The face of the ring measures approximately 5/8” tall, 1/2" wide, and 1/4" thick. The ring has a finger size 5.75 but could easily be resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and all of the stones are intact.
