David Webb was a talented young jeweler who grew to develop a huge following in New York beginning in the late 1940s. His work continued to gain popularity through the 1950s-60s and beyond, and even after his untimely death in 1975, the David Webb company still continues its incredible legacy. Known for its impeccable quality and bold, unique design, each handmade piece is an art object in itself. The pieces are often inspired by animals, nature, and geometric shapes, appealing to a wide audience. Popular amongst numerous celebrities from all generations, his jewelry boasts timelessness and beauty.

This fabulous signed Estate David Webb piece serves as a wonderful example of his work! Made of vibrant 18kt yellow gold, the frog is artistically adorned with a white enamel design and accented with multiple gold studs. The frog has a charming face and each of the two eyes are represented by gorgeous ruby cabochons. The underside of the frog reveals a hollow belly and a gold bar pin that runs diagonally across the bottom of the piece. One of the frog's feet is stamped "18K" along with the "WEBB" signature hallmark. It's a truly wonderful piece from a legendary jewelry maker, and it would make a very special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The pin measures just under 1" long, is 3/4" wide and approximately 1/2" tall.

Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or enamel and both rubies are intact.
