Art Deco 14kt Diamond & Sapphire Engage Ring .26ct
A lovely Art Deco (ca1920) diamond and sapphire engagement ring! This beautiful piece has a single diamond stone that rests in the center of a very ornate floral mounting. The diamond, which is an old European Cut, has an approximate total weight of .26ctw and is set in the lovely 14kt white gold setting. The color of the stone is G and the clarity is SI1. The diamond is prong set in a square box setting and sits atop the delicate wirework mounting which has a filigree floral motif. Set on each shoulder of the center diamond is a Single Cut diamond which have a total approximate weight 0.02ctw. On the shoulders of the are 4 Baguette Cut synthetic sapphires which total approximately 0.20ctw. The unusual design of the ring is simply wonderful and the ring looks striking on. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in October 2013 and has a stated replacement value of $2,500. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.25 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, diamond or to the sapphire stones, which are intact.
