A lovely Art Deco (ca1920) diamond and sapphire engagement ring! This beautiful piece has a single sparkling diamond stone that rests in the center of a very ornate mounting. The diamond, which is an old Mine Cut, has an approximate total weight of .46ct w and is set in the lovely 18kt white gold setting. The color of the stone is H and the clarity is VS1. The diamond is prong set in a octagonal box setting and sits atop the delicate wirework mounting. Set on each shoulders of the ring are two Square Cut sapphires, which weigh approximately .10ct. The unusual design is simply wonderful and the ring looks striking when worn. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in October 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,500.00. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, diamond or to the sapphire stones, which are intact.
