A beautiful diamond and sapphire engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This beautiful piece is made of platinum and has a prong set diamond stone that rests in the center. The diamond, which is an old European Cut, has a total weight of 1.28ctw and rests atop a beautiful mounting with small diamond details. The stone has I color and VS1 clarity. Set on the shoulders of the ring are 6 calibrated French cut real sapphires, as well as 28 Single Cut diamonds. The contrast between the deep blue sapphires and diamonds is simply breathtaking! The ring comes with an appraisal from an accredited and independent Gemologist. It is a stunning design and would make a gorgeous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, diamond or to the sapphire stones, all of which are intact.
