Art Deco Platinum Emerald Step Cut Diamond Engage Ring .85ct
A stunning diamond and emerald ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This gorgeous ring is made of platinum and has a stunning Square Step Cut diamond bezel set in its center. The diamond weighs approximately 0.85ctw with F color and SI1 clarity. The center diamond is set amid a luscious border of 20 calibrated channel set emeralds. Eight additional emeralds also carry along the shoulders of the ring and a fabulous heart wirework design can be found on the underside of the mounting. The overall weight of emeralds is 0.72ctw. Milgrained detailing can be found throughout the fabulous and unusual design of the ring, which looks absolutely beautiful on. The inside shank is stamped "097". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in December 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $8,000.00. It's a gorgeous ring and would look perfect worn everyday or could make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The square face of the ring measures about 3/8" tall and wide. The ring has a finger size 7.25 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the emeralds and diamonds are intact.
