A stunning and unusual tourmaline and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This fabulous piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and platinum and adorns a round tourmaline stone resting in the center of a diamond frame. The tourmaline, which weighs approximately 3.20ctw, has a faceted face and gorgeous, deep green color. The diamond border is comprised of 16 sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds which have a total approximate weight of 0.98ctw. The inside shank appears to have once been stamped "14K" but it is no longer fully legible. It's a beautiful ring and would look perfect worn everyday or could make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and the tourmaline and diamonds are all intact.
