Edwardian 18kt Gold & Platinum Ruby & Diamond Ring
An absolutely beautiful ruby and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning ring is made of 18kt yellow gold with a platinum topped mounting. Resting in the center of the ring is a gorgeous .85ct ruby stone which is held within a 18kt gold bezel. Surrounding the ruby are 14 sparkling Rose Cut bead set diamonds, forming a glittering border that looks outstanding next to the deep hue of the center stone. The shoulders of the band include a leaf-life motif that continues on to the base of the setting. The band is smooth and is stamped "548". This beautiful ring would make a stunning addition to any jewelry collection or a unique and beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8 but could be easily resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and the ruby and diamond stones are all intact.
