An absolutely exquisite 3-stone diamond and sapphire ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful piece is made of 18kt yellow gold and adorns a single sapphire stone resting in the center of 2 old Mine Cut diamonds. The center sapphire stone is slightly larger than the outer 2 and has a total approximate weight of 1.40ct and the two side diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.60ctw. Each stone is prong set in platinum prongs which compliment the yellow gold band beautifully. The color of the sapphire is absolutely beautiful and the mixed metals design adds a striking look to the piece. It is a stunning ring which could be worn as an everyday piece or would make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a generous finger size 7.25 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and all three stones are intact.
