An absolutely exquisite natural emerald and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful piece has a a vibrant, faceted, emerald stone at its center which is surrounded by 18 sparkling, old European Cut diamonds. The diamonds are prong set within the 14kt yellow gold mounting and have a total approximate weight of 1.44ctw with H/I color range and VS1/SI1 clarity range. The natural emerald has exceptional color. It was certified by GIA (the Gemological Institute of America) to be a natural, emerald stone of Colombian origin. The band, which is simple smooth gold, graduates slightly in width. It's an incredible emerald and a stunning ring! The ring would make an exquisite addition to any collection!
Measurements: The face of the ring measures approximately 3/4” tall, 5/8" wide, and 3/16" thick. The ring has a finger size 8.25 but could easily be resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or emerald and all of the stones are intact.
