A incredible Vintage sapphire and diamond ring from 1970s! This eye catching piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a sparkling sapphire and diamond center. A beautiful sapphire stone rests in the center, set slightly higher than the diamond frame, and is prong set weighing approximately 1.25ct. The sapphire is rectangular in shape and has a gorgeous, deep blue color. Surrounding the sapphire stone is diamond encrusted border that appears to burst out from the center. There are a total of 8 baguette cut diamonds and 24 single cut diamonds, which forms a sparkling cluster within a bead setting. A crownlike prong setting forms the side of the mounting, and the shoulders of the ring extend to a smooth gold band. An absolutely stunning ring, it would look incredible worn everyday or could make a special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25 but could be easily resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the stones are intact.
