$2,295
A stunning gold locket from the Late Victorian (ca1908) era! This beautiful piece is made of 14kt rosy yellow gold and has a gorgeous etched design covering the entire front surface. Set in the center of the swirly floral design is a single .25ct vivid green Emerald which adds a colorful, sparkling element to this already exceptional piece. The locket is particularly large in size and round in shape but not especially thick, allowing it to hang flat when worn. The back of the piece has a smooth gold surface engraved with a set of monogrammed initials in a flowing cursive script. The locket is hinged at the side and opens to reveal a space to store a favorite photograph inside behind glass. An inscription inside reads "From Mother, April 6th 1908." A stunning piece, it would look marvelous hung from a long gold chain and would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!

Measurements: The locket hangs 2" long, has a diameter of 1 1/2" and is approximately 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the emerald stone is intact. The bail is secure and the locket stays securely closed.
