A wonderful clover locket from the Late Victorian (ca1904) era! This beautiful piece is made of smooth 14kt yellow gold and depicts a lucky four-leaf clover! Prong set within one of the leaves is a vibrant ruby stone. It appears to have been a gift for a mother and the back of the locket displays multiple inscriptions: “für aufopfernde pflege”, “unserer lieben Mutter”, “Fritz Willy Emil”, and “29. Oct. 1904”. The locket opens to reveal two spaces for special photographs. This lovely piece would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The locket is 1" at the widest point, 7/8" long and is 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold and the ruby is intact. The locket closes easily and securely.
