A lovely pearl lorgnette chain from the Edwardian (ca1910) period! Made of 14kt white gold, this beautiful piece is comprised of delicate ellipse shaped wirework links, which alternate with small sections of fine chain and 8 natural pearls. The necklace comes together at an open triangular link at the center from which an extension chain hangs, decorated with two additional pearls, completing the elegant design. The pearls have a wonderful luster and beautiful soft white color that adds a feminine touch. The chain fastens together with a simple spring ring clasp at the back marked "14K". At the bottom of the extension is a simple swivel clasp which is perfect for hanging a complimentary pendant, watch or locket. This fabulous lorgnette chain would look wonderful paired with a gorgeous pendant and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The chain measures 24" in length and the center extension measures 3.5" in length.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold chain and all of the pearls are intact. The clasps are secure and in good working condition.
