A gorgeous gold horseshoe pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is made of 10kt rose gold and has a smooth surface with a sparkling 7-nail design (always 7 for good luck). Representing each nail is a single white sapphire stone, all of which are set within a subtle etched starburst design on the surface. The sides of the horseshoe are comprised of delicate filigree wirework design and the back reveals a small gold plaque stamped "BELOR." The horseshoe hangs from a complimentary chain formed by delicate textured rose gold rings. The chain fastens in the back with a simple lobster clasp. A very fashionable and attractive piece, it blends seamlessly into modern day fashion and would look perfect worn everyday. Both beautiful and versatile, it is perfect for the equestrian enthusiast and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The horseshoe measures 1 1/8" tall, is a little less than 1" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/8". The chain measures approximately 18" long, but can also be worn 16.5" long with an extension in the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold pendant or to the chain and all of the white sapphires are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
