The book chain fastens together with a large sterling spring clasp in the center, which could be worn in the back or used for attaching a complimentary locket or pendant. It's a very special Victorian piece that would make a marvelous addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: When fully extended, the entire length of the piece measures approximately 18" long. Each individual link measures 1" long, 5/8" wide and 1/4" thick. The large spring ring clasp has a 3/4" diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling links or rings, and the spring ring clasp is secure and in good working condition.
