A striking bead necklace from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This wonderful piece displays 37 beaded links that vary slightly in size. Each bead is comprised of a cabochon citrine stone resting on top of another one, with a layer of faceted, rock quartz crystal separating the two. Alternating with each gorgeous citrine bead link is a vibrant 14kt yellow gold bead. At the back of the piece is a smooth 14kt gold filled clasp that is stamped "GF" and “14/20”. It's a simply marvelous necklace that would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the necklace measures approximately 36" long. The smallest beaded link measures slightly more than 1/2" long, and 1/4" wide. The largest beaded link measures slightly more than 3/4" long and 3/8" wide. Each gold bead has a diameter of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold beads or to the clasp, which fastens securely and is in good working condition. There are no obvious chips or scratches to any of the citrine stones or rock quartz crystal.
