Late Art Deco Faceted Amber Bead Necklace 30"
A fantastic strand of natural amber beads from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This stunning necklace is made up of 74 graduated, faceted amber beads, which form an extra long necklace. Strung on orange-colored string, the piece is finished with a gold spring clasp. The amber beads are covered in large facets on all sides and have a wonderful, vibrant, orange color. The beads are large in size and the necklace is fairly long in length. This is truly a statement piece and would be a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The largest bead, which is in the center of the strand, ha a diameter of about 1", while the smallest has a diameter of slightly more than 3/8”. The overall length of the necklace is approximately 30". The necklace has a weight of 139 grams.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or chips to the amber and the stringing and clasp are in fine condition.
