Late Victorian Carved Bone & Coral Hand Pendant
A wonderful charm/pendant from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This artistic and unusual hand carved piece is made of bone and depicts a hand clenched into a fist. The fist holds a decorative loop with fringe comprised of 4 dangling natural coral pieces. Gold filled accents complete the design, including a wide cuff at the wrist resembling a bracelet, which attaches to a loop for hanging. The piece would look fabulous worn alone on a simple chain or added to a charm bracelet or necklace. This unique piece has a wonderful look and would make a marvelous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The piece hangs approximately 2 1/4" long, is 1/2" at the widest point and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the carved bone, natural coral, or to the gold filled accents. The bail is intact and in good working condition.
