An absolutely breathtaking diamond starburst pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is made of 15kt (indicating English origin) rosy yellow gold and forms the shape of a dazzling 10-point starburst. Resting at the center is a .60ct prong-set Old Mine cut diamond, which has I color and SI2 clarity. The entire front surface of the piece is encrusted with 25 sparkling Old Mine cut diamonds that line the rays of the starburst and are approximately 1.25ctw, creating a simply dazzling effect. The piece has a slightly convex shape, and the diamonds look beautiful next to the bright color of the gold. At the top is a swinging gold bail, while the back of the starburst has a pin clasp, allowing the piece to be converted and worn as a pin or pendant. This incredibly stunning piece has an elegant and feminine design and would make an outstanding addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin/pendant hangs 1 1/2" long (including the bail), measures 1 1/8” wide and has a depth of 1/4".
