Victorian 18kt Gold & Platinum Diamond Crescent Pin
An absolutely exquisite diamond crescent pin from the Victorian era (ca1880)! Made of 14kt yellow gold topped in platinum, this gorgeous pin depicts a single crescent moon sliver that is detailed with 20 old Mine Cut diamonds. The graduating diamonds vary in size, with the largest center stone set at the center and weighing approximately 0.20ct. The pin has an unusual, curved shape which looks ideal worn on a heavy jacket, sweater or scarf, where it can rest in a manner securely featuring the sparkling line of diamonds. A 18kt yellow gold pin clasp can be found on the back of the crescent. This celestial piece stunning and would look great worn day or night!
Measurements: The crescent measures 2 1/2" long, 1/4" wide and 1/4" deep.
Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact. The gold pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
