A simply wonderful signed Trifari "Jelly Belly" bug pin from the Retro (ca1940) era! This piece, which depicts a large winged bug, has a "Jelly Belly" body which is made of a cabochon faux sapphire and faux emerald stone. The bug is graced with 2 large wings which are represented by marquise shaped faceted faux rubies. The piece is made of sterling silver which has sparkling rhinestones detailing its arms and wings. At the top of the head are 2 rhinestone encrusted antennae with 2 cabochon faux ruby eyes. On the underside of the pin is a sterling clasp and the marks "STERLING" and "TRIFARI". The pin is just lovely and a must for any Trifari Jelly Belly collector!
Measurements: The pin measures a little less than 1 5/8" wide, 1 3/4" long and a little more than 1/2" in depth.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. There is no apparent damage to any of the metal all of the stones and rhinestones are intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
