Retro 14kt Diamond Engagement Ring .73ct
An stunning diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! This beautiful ring is made of 14kt white gold and holds a single old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is prong set and weighs approximately .73ct with J color and SI2 clarity. Six single cut diamonds decorate the shoulders of the ring, which are set within a half bezel setting and have a clustered design. The single cut diamonds have H-I color range, VS-SI clarity range and a total approximate weight of 0.12ctw. The sides of the mounting display a beautiful wirework cutout design that adds to the beauty of the ring and the inside of the shank is stamped with a few small hallmarks. The ring was appraised in August 2013 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $6,000.00. Feminine and very elegant, this gorgeous piece would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact.
