An striking cocktail style citrine ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! Made of 14kt yellow gold, this impressive ring features a Step Cut citrine stone, which is particularly large in size, at its center. The citrine, which is held in a 4 prong setting, has a total approximate weight of 70ctw and rich, mossy yellow color. Accenting each side of the ring is a vertical row of 7 rubies held within a platinum-topped setting, which have a total approximate weight of 1.30ctw. The sides of the ring are decorated with swirled pillar style shoulders that each are detailed with a row of sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds in a milgrained platinum setting. The 6 diamonds are bead-set and weigh approximately .30ct. This bold ring has a hefty weight and is impossible to miss when worn!
