Art Deco 14kt Aquamarine & Seed Pearl Filigree Ring
A beautiful and artistic aquamarine ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Resting in the center of this magnificent ring is a large, faceted aquamarine stone, which is held within a 14kt white gold bezel setting. The aqua, which has a beautiful, clear blue color, is surrounded by a border of delicate natural seed pearls and at each side is a mixed metals design, depicting a lovely rose gold flower in bloom with green gold leaves at each side. The mounting of the ring has an exceptional filigree wirework design, with an ornate "wicker" pattern accented with delicate flowers. The floral motif carries along the band and the pattern is completed with accenting milgrained detail. The inside of the shank is stamped "PAT" and "14K". A fabulous Art Deco ring, it makes a gorgeous statement piece and would be a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5 but could easily be re-sized. The octagonal shaped setting measures approximately 7/8" tall, slightly less than 3/4" wide and rests approximately 1/2" above the finger when worn. The aqua stone itself measures approximately 13mm by 18mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting and the aquamarine stone and all of the seed pearls are intact.
