Victorian 14kt & Platinum Double Snake Ring with Diamonds
The snake has been a powerful image since the Victorian era and continues to be popular even in modern jewelry. It has been an inspiration for jewelry design for ages, often used to symbolize eternity, everlasting love, life and protection.
This fabulous diamond double snake ring is from the Edwardian (ca1910) era and is simply marvelous! Made of platinum and 14kt rose gold, the design features two snakes intertwined and twisted around each other. Both snakes have a single sparkling white diamond set in each of their heads in a bead setting and delicately engraved detail depicting their mouths and eyes. The snakes' bodies act as the ring's band and their tails weave delicately into the opening between their two necks, completing the lovely design. This fabulous ring is perfect for any snake lover and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a large finger size of 8 but could be re-sized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and gold setting and both diamond stones are intact.
