A simply exquisite and unusual moonstone and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This fabulous ring is made of platinum and has a single cabochon moonstone set in its center. The stone, which is particularly large in size, is bezel set and has pearly hues of blue. A baguette diamond is set in the wide band, resting on each shoulder of the mounting. The diamonds have a total approximate weight of .38ct tw. Above and below each diamond is a lovely, etched, scroll design which completes the look of the ring perfectly. The underside of the band is stamped “PLATINUM”. The moonstone is absolutely stunning and the ring looks beautiful on. It would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5 but could easily be resized. The moonstone has a diameter of slightly less than 1/2". The band measures in width from less than 3/16” to 1/2”.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and the moonstone and both diamonds are intact.
