A beautiful emerald and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning piece is made of platinum and has 3 gorgeous stones that rest horizontally across the top of the ring. The center stone is a faceted emerald weighing 1.25ct and at its sides are two old Mine Cut diamonds, weighing approximately 1.20ct each. An additional 22 delicate diamonds decorate the front and shoulders of the ring in a bead setting, adding an incredible sparkle to the design. The sides and shoulders of the mounting display beautiful filigree wirework and delicate milgrained details and antique engraving extends along the sides of the band. The beautiful green color of the emerald paired with the sparkling diamonds makes a gorgeous combination. It's absolutely marvelous and would look beautiful worn everyday or could make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the stones are intact.
