A fantastic diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of platinum, the piece has a fantastic and unusual layered design that features rows of sparkling diamonds. At the center of the ring are 3 bezel set diamonds which rest diagonally atop a bed of diamonds. Resting slightly lower than the 3 center stone are 2 triangular sections, each holding 12 bead set old European Cut diamonds. Set on the shoulders of the ring are four Baguette Cut diamonds and 2 additional old European Cut stones. Together, the overall diamond weight of the ring is 1.83ctw with H-I color and VS-SI clarity range. The overall effect of the attractive design is very modern and unusual and it looks striking on. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in December 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $5,000.00. This fashionable ring would make a bold and impressive addition to any collection!
