A fabulous amethyst ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 14kt yellow gold, this fabulous piece features a bezel set cabochon amethyst stone at the center. The stone is framed by a carved geometric pattern and at each shoulder is a decorative scrolled design in raised white gold. The amethyst has faint purple color and an open back, allowing you to easily see through it. The inside of the band is stamped "14K". A bold and attractive piece, it would compliment any woman's jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.25 but could be re-sized. The amethyst stone and gold frame measures 1/2" wide and 5/8" tall. When worn, the ring rests approximately 3/8" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the amethyst, which is intact.
