An absolutely exquisite moonstone, diamond and ruby ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning ring has a gorgeous moonstone center which is particularly large in size. The stone is beautiful and clear with iridescent flashes of blue. The cabochon moonstone is surrounded by 22 alternating sparkling rubies and old Rose Cut diamonds which are set in 18kt yellow gold. The diamonds rest in sterling topped prongs and the inside of the band has the marking “750”. The ring has an unusual design and is absolutely gorgeous! It would make a marvelous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be resized if desired. The moonstone measures approximately 7/8" tall and about 1/2" wide. The moonstone, diamond and ruby cluster measures 1 1/8" tall and 3/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the moonstone center or gold setting and all of the stones are intact.
