This fabulous diamond and ruby snake ring is from the Victorian (ca1880) era and is simply marvelous. Made of 18kt yellow gold, the ring portrays 2 intertwined snakes which coil beautifully around your finger. Each of the 2 snakes have a sparkling stone set in its head, one a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond and the other a luscious ruby. The snake bodies act as the ring's band and coil around each other forming a fabulous ring. There is a hand engraved phrase on the shank of the ring which includes the date "12-2-20". This beautiful ring looks stunning on and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of small size 6.5 but could easily be re-sized if desired. The width of the ring graduates in size from a little more than 1/8" to a little less than 3/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the stones are intact.
