Victorian Scottish Agate Anchor Link Bracelet & Heart Padlock Clasp
A beautiful and unusual Scottish agate link bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is comprised of 7 hand carved anchor links attached together with sterling silver and agate connectors. The anchor links are oval in shape and the connectors have a rectangular shape which compliments the anchor links perfectly, with a sterling silver underside. The bracelet clasps at a sterling heart shaped padlock which loops securely through a sterling hook. The gorgeous earth tones of black, brown, tan, orange and white make this a spectacular accessory. It's a simple yet beautiful piece and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The length of the bracelet measures approximately 7.5" long. Each oval shaped link is 3/4" at the longest point, slightly more than 5/8" at the widest point and slightly less than 1/8" thick. Each connector link is 3/4" at the longest point, slightly more than 1/8" at the widest point and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there are no apparent chips, cracks, or scratches in the agate stone links and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
