David Webb began in the late 1940's and has established itself as the standard bearer of American jewelry. Known for its impeccable quality and bold, unique design, each piece is hand made and an art object in itself. Popular amongst numerous celebrities from all generations his jewelry boasts timelessness and beauty.
This David Webb ring depicts an utterly fabulous and bold look. This over the top piece has over 4.5 carats of diamonds set in 18kt yellow gold and platinum. The piece sits high above your finger and comprised of a basket weaved setting that has 44 diamonds set within it with an approximate total carat weight of 2.75ct. On top of the weaved portion is a separate section with 10 nice sized sparkling diamonds, each measuring approximately .18ct and 4 smaller diamonds in the corners; making the total carat weight of the top section approximately 2 carats. The top flat section is made of platinum and surrounded by a black enamel border. The inside of the ring has a few different markings: "(c) WEBB (R)", "18K" and "PLAT". It is one of the most fantastic Webb pieces that I have ever seen and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: Looking down on it, the face of the ring measures approximately 1/2" tall and 1" wide. The ring has a finger size 7.5 but could be sized slightly if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting or to the enameling and all of the diamonds are intact.
