TIFFANY & CO. ELSA PERETTI Estate Sterling & Diamond Heart Necklace
Born in Florence, Elsa Peretti's first introduction with her collection began at Tiffany & Co. in 1974. During that time her collection debuted to high acclaim. Her inspiration in jewelry came from nature with elements such as bones, beans, hearts, scorpions, snakes, teardrops and sea-shells. Peretti's designs are translated in a wide variety of materials, however her most popular designs are her works in silver.
This beautiful open heart necklace from Tiffany & Co. is one of Elsa Peretti's first jewelry designs! Made of sterling silver, the pendant takes the form of a medium sized open heart with a single diamond set at the top. Simple yet lovely, the pendant looks beautiful on and hangs from a black silk cord which loops through one corner of the heart and knots in the back. The heart is stamped "925" along with the authentic "TIFFANY & CO." and "Elsa Peretti" signatures and the word "SPAIN". This fabulous and romantic piece from a legendary jewelry maker would be a perfect addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The black silk cord measures approximately 16" long. The pendant measures 3/4" tall, 7/8" wide, and 3/16" thick at its thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver heart pendant or black silk cord and the diamond is intact.
