A fabulous platinum and diamond Hamilton watch from the late Retro (ca1950) era! This gorgeous watch has a square-shaped watch face, which is surrounded by a wonderful and feminine design that is encrusted with sparkling diamonds. The clock belly has a white face with silver-tone dashes in place of numbers and at the top center of the watch face is the maker name “HAMILTON”. Five platinum hinged links sprout from the top and bottom of the watch, forming a long, diamond shaped face. These links hold 40 brilliant cut diamonds and 14 baguette cut diamonds, which line the center of each. Twelve additional diamonds carry along the sides of the clock belly and 6 can be found on the two links which connect on either side to the band. The band of the watch is made of 14kt white gold box links which are each accented with diamonds and the piece comes together at a secure clasp. The overall approximate diamond weight of the watch is 5.00ctw. The clasp has a safety chain for added security and the underside is stamped "14KT". The watch would fit well on a small to average sized wrist. It's a very special piece that looks simply marvelous on. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
