MICHAEL GOOD Contemporary 18kt Gold Half Twist Earrings
Known as the pioneer of the "anticlastic raising" technique in metalwork, Michael Good is an accomplished sculptor and jewelry maker. He discovered how to take an open formed piece and make a tubular form, known as a "closed seam speculum" which is represented in his 'loop' jewelry collection. His work is represented in galleries, stores and private collections internationally and his pieces are very beautiful and collectible, each being a true piece of art.
Wonderful, contemporary Michael Good gold earrings! Each earring is comprised of a flat, half twisted hoop, which is made of 18kt yellow gold. The hoop graduates in width from top to bottom, giving these earrings quite a spectacular design. Each earring is signed “M. GOOD” and stamped “.750”, along with another hallmark. These stunning earrings are extremely light in weight and would look fantastic worn day or night!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1 3/4" long, is 1/2" at the widest point, and less than 1/8” thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides light surface wear there is no serious damage to the gold earrings or wires.
