A striking Vintage necklace designed by Robin Kahn for Cartier! This fabulous piece from the 1980's displays a large sterling silver amulet at its center and hangs from a black cord. The large pendant is rectangular with rounded edges, and has a raised, domed center. Sterling silver rings on the back of the amulet connect it to the black cord which is capped at each end with a sterling silver tube. The necklace is finished with a knot at the back of the piece. The back of the amulet is stamped “Cartier”, “ROBIN KAHN”, and “STERLING”. It's a magnificent piece and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The sterling silver pendant measures approximately 3 1/8" long, slightly more than 1 3/8" at the widest point and 1/8" at the thickest point. When stretched, each cord measures approximately 17” long, for a total of 34”.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, to the sterling silver, there is no serious damage to the pendant or to the black cord chain.
