Victorian Sterling Silver Etched Hinged Bracelet
A fantastic sterling bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful sterling silver piece is particularly wide and has a fine etched floral design across the front surface. The flowing feminine design includes an array of different flowers and other foliage and is rich in detail and the top and bottom of the front surface is lined in find bead work. The bracelet is hinged and clasps on the side and has a safety chain for added security. The underside of the bracelet is smooth and is stamped "STERLING SILVER" at the clasp. A wonderful piece, the bracelet has a classic Victorian look that would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The surface of the bracelet measures about 1 1/8" wide on the front and 1" on the back and has a depth of about 1/8". The inside opening (where your wrist would fit) measures 2 3/8" wide and approximately 1 3/4" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver and the clasp and hinge are secure and in good working condition.
