Late Victorian 9kt Gold Moonstone Ring

A simply lovely moonstone ring from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This stunning piece is made of 9kt (indicating English origin) yellow gold and has a cabochon moonstone set in the center. The moonstone, which is oval in shape, has lovely, translucent color with soft flashes of light blue that catch in the light. The gold mounting is simple yet beautiful, featuring a leaf-like design at each shoulder and a smooth gold band. The shank is stamped "9CT" inside. A very attractive piece, it is ideal for everyday wear and would make a special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be re-sized. The front of the ring where the moonstone rests measures 5/8" tall and 3/8" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting or to the moonstone, which is intact.
