Victorian Sterling Silver Studded Bangle Bracelet
An absolutely fabulous sterling bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful sterling silver piece is particularly wide and has very striking design. The front surface is decorated with two rows of raised sterling studs, which are each intricately accented with engraved and textured detail. The front of the bracelet has an interesting 3-dimensional look, while the back is smooth sterling silver. Rich in detail, the bracelet is hinged and clasps on the side and stamped on the inside of the bracelet are several small English hallmarks. A wonderful handmade piece, the bangle has a unique Victorian look. Worn alone or stacked with other bracelets, it would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The inside opening (where your wrist would fit) measures 2 1/4" wide and approximately 1 7/8" tall. The surface of the bracelet measures 1" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver and the clasp and hinge are secure and in good working condition.
